Poster Art: Celebrating The Many Images Of The Wicker Man

For years we have been going to the cinema, pulled in by the poster art, the imagery that drives us to pay our box office fee and then be scared until the lights come back on.

The Wicker Man’s imagery has had an impact on all its fans, from the wicker man image itself to the figure of Lord Summerisle commanding his people over the cliffs.

To celebrate this I have put together a small gallery of The Wicker Man posters, the ones you see here are official. I did however find some others but I think they may be fan art of which there will be another gallery for that soon. It is quite obvious that there are many designs, some of which are for re-issues (the Dan Mumford design for 2013’s release) and the posters designed for international audiences.

If you find any others you would like to add please contact me, I would be more than happy to add it to our gallery. Please note I only want to feature The Wicker Man (1973), no remakes please!
